4th Jan 2019 - Holiday Workshop

Today we held an introductory holiday workshop.

Students were shown how to do coding using coloured program codes. We learnt how to trouble shoot coding errors and were able to get our robots to perform their tasks correctly.

We then used this new coding knowledge to create a race challenge which students needed to think creatively to code around the challenge and complete the task. Then we raced our robots.

I am always pleased and surprised to see how many ways students find to solve this challenge. Everyone completed their challenge with flying colours and lots of laughs.

We also had a bit of time to play around with our robots and activated our robots to follow movement, play music and move away from obstacles.
