Coding & Robotics - Term 3 - Week 4

LET'S CHECK OUR CODING & PROBLEM SOLVE.

Coding doesn't always go according to plan, sometimes we tell our robots to go right instead of left or backwards instead of forwards. It was a night of checking and fixing coding errors. It's a lot more fun than it sounds lol.

Outcomes:

• Tonight students had to think about the movement of their robots and how they can code this movement so their robots know what to do.

• Students have started to get the hang of the coding editor we are using for these robots and how to code movement, speed, turns and direction, we also learnt to code a couple special features for a bit of fun.

• Problem solving and logical thinking were needed tonight as well as perseverance and a sense of humour when a few of our robots and coding went haywire. Nothing we couldn't fix. ;-)
